An update to the saga. The issue of the wheel coming off was apparently only half the issue. Both front wheels were set to fall off, two more minutes of driving or so and one of the wheels would have fallen off for sure. Regardless, our mechanic, much to our surprise, actually paid for the repairs to the van. While this helps out considerably the drive through the mountains wailed on our wallets. Whatever, 31 hours of driving later we're just stoked to be on California. Thanks for the love, the help, and serious thanks to chris and erik for driving us to and from Belevedere.
